Bahia de los Angeles, Mexico

YELLOWTAIL FISHING WITH JIGS WAS
JUST FAIR THIS WEEK AT L.A. BAY

Sept. 30, 2005, Abraham Vazquez, Camp Gecko, Bahia de los Angeles fishing, Baja California, Mexico Report:

Bahia de los Angeles fishing is fair now. Yellowtail are still here, and the fishing action is still down deep now. It has been slow and the few yellows are small. Most of the action is on jigs. Some sierra are in the bay. The seal lions are not a problem anymore, and bait is easy to get now .

Bahia de los Angeles weather is still warm, in the low 90’s for a high and the low 80’s during the night, with low humidity. The winds have been moderate out of the north for a few days.

We will be getting ready for hurricane Otis in a few days. It is supposed to be coming our way. The water temperature at Bahia de los Angeles is between 81-84 degrees, still quite warm. Road conditions are great, gasoline pumping good at $2.10 dollars per gallon. There are still no whale sharks inside the bay. This past weekend we had a beach wedding at Camp Gecko. Congratulations to Christopher and Erin Stumbles.
