GAVOITA FLEET, FISH CABO, AND JUANITA VIII SPORTFISHING RESULTS

Dec. 3, 2004, Larry Edwards, Cortez Yacht Charters, Cabo San Lucas fishing report, Baja California Sur, Mexico:

The "Fish Cabo", reporting in for 6 Cabo Cabo San Lucas fishing days, released 13 striped marlin and landed 5 dorado. The "Juanita VIII", fishing Cabo San Lucas for 2 days, reported 1 striper release, 5 dorado and 6 yellowfin tuna. The Gaviota Sportfishing Fleet, reporting in for 22 Cabo San Lucas boat days, reflected 16 stripers, (13 released) l yellowfin tuna and 13 dorado.

Cabo San Lucas Climate: Mostly cloudy, 59 nights to 82 daytime highs, NW breezes

Cabo San Lucas Water and Weather: Temps ranged from about 73 degrees on the Golden Gate & Jaime Bank to 78 degrees directly in front of Cabo and around to the Gordo Banks.

Best Cabo San Lucas Fishing Area: South of Cabo Falso, 2-5 miles.

Best Lure/Bait: Live bait was a must for the billfish.
