JUST A FEW BOATS FISHING AT EAST CAPE THIS WEEK
FOR SCATTERED DORADO ACTION

Dec. 26, 2004, Gary Leeper, Martin Verdugo's Beach Resort fishing report, East Cape, Baja California Sur, Mexico:

Needless to say, there has been more partying than fishing this week at East Cape. Several days have been windy but the few boats that have been out have found small dorado on the buoys, and some activity on dorado in open waters up to three miles out and into the boat lines. Ronny Verdugo reported spotting quite a few marlin between the pyramids and playa norte two miles off the beach, late in the week. Sierra have been available in the usual inshore spots. Weather has been cool, high-50s to 70s, and the sea surface water temperature on anchor this morning was 71 degrees.
