EAST CAPE FISHING TRIP TO RANCHO LEONERO

I just back from fishing at Rancho Leonero. We were there 11/3 thru 11/7. We fished the 4th 5th and 6th.

The first fishing day out, with 10 guys on five boats, we caught 12 marlin and 11 sails. Mixed in with that was 3 football tuna and 2, 5 pound dorado.

Fishing on day 2 saw 3 marlin and 1 sail, and day 3 saw 2 marlin.

The tuna have left the East Cape sportfishing area, as a north wind blew just before we got there.

East Cape fishing weather while we were there was mid to high 80's and calm seas.
