EL DORADO FISHES AT ISLA TODOS SANTOS

June 3, 2005, Memo Gomez, El Dorado Sportfishing, Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico:

On Friday we fished out of Ensenada with two anglers, out at Isla Todos Santos, looking for barracuda and yellowtail without much luck, but we did catch five barracuda, even if we missed on the yellowtail. We then went to fish the bottom, and the action was better. The clients fished all with scampis, and they caught lingcod of very good size, between 6 and 8 pounds, and limits of rockcod, and three calico bass. The Ensenada fishing weather was very good in the morning, but at 11 a.m. the wind started, and we trolled without success. The water temperature was 65 degrees.

June 1, 2005, Memo Gomez, El Dorado Sportfishing, Ensenada, Mexico Fishing Report:

Today I went fishing at Ensenada with three passengers and the fishing was very good for limits of barracuda of very good size, and also a yellowtail of 20 pounds, and some bottom fish. We fished 1 mile off Punta Norte of Isla Todos Santos, and it was a beautiful day with no wind. The water temperature in our Ensenada sportfishing area was 64.5 degrees.
