SCULPIN CAUGHT DURING BAJA FISHING TRIP OFF LA SALINA

Last Sunday we went fishing 12 miles out of La Salina, north of Ensenada. We caught mostly lots of Sculpin in the northern area of the Finger Bank. The bait was squid on Rockcod rigs about 40 fathoms deep. I went with Serrano, Jorge Perez, and Memo and Jorge Pimentel from Vince´s Restaurant in Rosarito, Their boat, Albatros, is equipped with GPS, radio and more electronics. The fishing for Sculpin was good and sometimes up to three sculpin were hooked on the Rockcod rig with five hooks 6/0 size. The sea conditions were choppy.
