STEADY ALBACORE COUNTS FOR ENSENADA FISHING BOATS
AMIGO AND TAMARA OUT OF MARINA CORAL

July 16, 2005, Sammy Susarrey, Lily Fleet, Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico:

Today we had a down day. Most boats came in with zeros, others with about three fish per boat. The Tamara reported 4 albies and Amigo 1. Mike and Gordos have bait this weekend.

July 16, 2005:

The Tamara came back from fishing offshore of Ensenada today, with four anglers, and 12 albacore of 20 pounds. The water was clear blue at 64.5 degrees in the fishing area at the Ensenada 238 bank, and the fish hit hoochie feathers in clear colors.

July 13, 2005:

The Tamara fished off Ensenada and got 13 albacore of 25 pounds for four anglers. The weather was bumpy and windy, and the fish were caught 38 miles from Ensenada's Marina Coral at GPS numbers 31.33 117.13 in 64.5 degree water. The fish hit Zukers in black and green-purple.
