RED TIDE FISHING CONDITIONS FOUND AT ENSENADA BY VONNY'S FLEET PANGAS

Aug. 7-13, 2005, Ivan Villarino, Vonny's Fleet, Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico:

Ensenada has had patchy fog in the mornings, and then partly cloudy days, with temperatures of 66 to 71 degrees and breezes of about 4 m.p.h. in our fishing area at Punta Banda. Fishing for our Ensenada pangas has been mainly for bottom fish and calico bass. We also caught a few small yellowtail, but not too many.

Ensenada fishing boats are still battling the "jamaica" colored red tide water. It has been pretty solid while fishing at the point, the island, and the inner bay. Hopefully it will start going away soon. I think it will improve.
