CORRECTED ENSENADA FISHING REPORT FOR 2 DORADO AND 2 YELLOWFIN TUNA

Sept. 7, 2005, Dario Rodriguez, Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico:

I booked a private fishing charter for 9-4-05 at Ensenada. The trip was good. We had a good time. We trolled pretty much the whole time using feathers and Rapalas. We managed to land 2 nice dorados and 2 nice yellowfin tunas. The crew was great and really knew what they were doing. We had live bait on board, but by the time we got out there it was pretty much all dead. The fishing conditions weren't so great with nice size winds and very choppy seas.

We still had a good time fishing and can't wait to head back out there next year. Hopefully the fishing well be better. The next day I went on their website to check out the reports for our boat. They posted 12 dorados and 9 yellowfin tuna for our trip. We only caught 2 of each. That's a pretty big margin there. I tried to get a hold of the guy and couldn't, and I wrote him an email telling him what the real counts were but it hasn't changed. I don't appreciate false fishing reports as I'm sure no one else does. Not a good way to run your business if you ask me.
