ENSENADA FISHING PRODUCES PANGA YELLOWTAIL TO 47 POUNDS

Nov. 6-12, 2005, Ivan Villarino, Vonny's Fleet, Punta Banda, Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico:

Our sportfishing area around Ensenada's Punta Banda had mostly calm conditions with some light breezes this week, with ocean swells of 2 to 3 feet, variable cloud cover, and the water temperature at 60 degrees. The air temperature around Ensenada bay was 54 to 66 degrees.

On Sunday, Martin Vermaeg and Geoff Clayton from Antiock California caught 4 yellowtails, one nice 47 pounds, and ling cods on the Vonny-I with Beto Zamora.

While fishing on Friday, the weather was very calm and a little rainy in the morning. Our pangas, the Vonny-I and Vonny-III, fished with with Capt. Cruz and Capt. Beto Zamora and they caught plenty of fish, ling and rock cods and white fish.

On Saturday, the Vonny-I and Vonny-III fished out of Ensenada again with with Capt. Beto and Capt. Hector Zamora with Tom Gatch and friends from San Diego for much of the same catch and some calico bass too.
