FISHING BOAT TAMARA FINDS BOTTOM FISH AT PUNTA BANDA BANK

Jan. 25, 2006, Sammy Susarrey, Lily Fleet, Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico:

Yesterday, we fished out of Marina Coral at Ensenada, Mexico on our charter boat Tamara for bottom fish at the Punta Banda banks, and we did excellently.

We caught nice big red snappers and a few big lingcods. The water temperature at the Punta Banda bank was 58 degrees, cool, but the fishing water was very clean.

We used live sardines for bait that we got at Gordo's Baits. These guys have been providing very good service on live bait. Also most of the time, he has medium green back mackerel bait.

The weather at Ensenada had some whitecaps, but it was an incredible fishing day. We called it a day at 11:30 a.m. because we had caught our limits.
