CASTRO'S CAMP SENDS 28 FISHING BOATS OUT DURING THE WEEK

July 10, 2005, Fernando Castro, Castro's Camp, Erendira, Mexico Fishing Report:

This week we had 28 boats fishing out of Castro's Camp at Erendira. We caught four yellowtail, eight lingcod, red rockcod, whitefish, and sheephead. There are lots of fish on the bottom. The weather at Erendira during the week was very good all week long. Close to the coast, the water was a little cloudy, but it was a clear blue at 6 miles out. We are seeing lots of big fish. There is lots of bait in the water. White seabass were caught on Rapalas and jigs of blue and white. The water temperature is 60.6 degrees, in our fishing area 6 miles from the coast.
