FISHING BOATS FETTERED BY WINDS AND RAIN

Ixtapa Zihuatanejo fishing was hampered by "Otis" during the past week. Wind limited the offshore fishing to only a couple of so-so days and the rains produced enough river runoff to muddy up the beach water and limit the Roosterfish action.

Clearing weather and water at Ixtapa Zihuatanejo have hopes high for the upcoming "Jacks or Better" fly fishing tournament and the kick off for the new season. Most of the boats are now spit-shined, painted and polished for the winter.
