MOSQUITO FLEET SPORTFISHING ROUND-UP

Sept. 11, 2004, Luis Lopez, Mosquito Fleet, La Paz, Mexico Fishing:

We had a lot of action during the week, sending about three La Paz fishing super pangas out per day, to El Rosario, Las Cruces, Coyote, and around Isla Espiritu Santo, mostly for dorado of 20 to 35 pounds, pargo, cabrilla, and always, bonita.

La Paz weather has been hot and unstable, 80 to 110 degrees, with a water temperature of around 80 degrees. We've had three tropical depressions out in the Pacific, which have brought La Paz some rain, wind, and electrical displays.

We have had many divers here, about 30 or 40 dives per day, with good visibility, despite the storms.
