CHARTER FISHING PANGAS CATCH YELLOWTAIL AT EL BAJITO

Jan. 29, 2005, Jonathan Roldan, Tailhunter International, La Paz, Mexico Fishing Report:

La Paz air temperatures have been a great 75 degrees and overall a pretty pleasant week. The biggest surprise came from Mike Madlock, fishing 3 days out of La Paz on the the Black Magic. Mike headed out to the honey hole on the southeast side of Espiritu Santo Island near Bonanza Beach and ran into some nice dorado fishing, which is pretty crazy for this time of year.

They also got sierra, cabrilla, and small yellowtail out of this same La Paz fishing hot spot that has been producing mahi since last September.

La Paz charter fishing pangas have also been working El Bajito for yellowtail and the west side of the island for snapper. On the Las Arenas side of La Paz, there are still fishing for sierra and cabrilla intermixed with red snapper.
