TORTUGA FLEET WEEKLY REPORT

Feb. 19, 2005, Gerardo Hernandez, Tortuga Sportfishing, Las Arenas, La Paz, Mexico Fishing Report:

This week, Las Arenas fishing weather was excellent, 70 to 78 degrees, without wind, and the sea was very calm. The water was very nice, at 70 to 72 degrees in our fishing areas, and we continued to fish at Punta Perico, although we ran out to Isla Cerralvo for sardina bait, and out there we also fished for pargo and cabrilla. The fishing around Punta Perico was mostly for pargos, and offshore we are still getting dorado of very nice size.

Las Arenas continues to have very few visitors, and a total of only about four to six pangas per day are going out for commercial and sport fishing. We hope this excellent weather brings more anglers to our area, and soon we will be seeing everybody at the Fred Hall Show. We're trying our best to make our fishing service the best for all of our clients.
