SIERRA AND CABRILLA CAUGHT OFF OLD HOTEL LAS ARENAS

Nov. 27, 2005, Dos Hernandez, Tortuga Sportfishing, Las Arenas, La Paz, Mexico Fishing Report:

Fishing conditions on La Paz' Las Arenas side have returned to normal after some days of north wind that made fishing difficult. This week, the wind stopped completely, allowing us to go out searching for different fish species.

Right now, we're finding fish near the Hotel las Arenas in an area known as Cabo de Horno, between the hotel and the Punta Arena de la Ventana lighthouse. We're catching dorado and tuna together in this location.

We are also getting reports of sierra and cabrilla beginning to be caught here, fish species which are caught in this season of the year.
