ANGLERS STILL FISHING IN WINDY WEATHER

Nov. 20, 3004, Arturo Susarrey, Arturo's Sportfishing, Loreto, Mexico Fishing Report:

Loreto vacation area weather has been kind of windy during the week, but wind is very normal at this time of year, only a few days are nice and calm and anglers are taking their chances enjoying their fishing journey.

Dorado: Only a few dorado have been found, and they are very little. At this time of year they start moving over to other areas looking for warmer water temperature. We wish the dorado luck on their migration and will be waiting for them to come back next year.

We have found some yellowtail around a sardine school located close to the coast north of Loreto this side of San Bruno. Anglers have been catching a good amount of yellowtail with a weight of 10 to 15 pounds each one.

Roosterfish are located on same spot as the yellowtail and Las Barracas, San Bruno, north of Loreto 18 miles more or less. Anglers are catching and releasing most of them. Weight between 15 to 30 pounds.

Mackerel and big eye bait are available on Coronado Island or from the Loreto marina (catching your own), or buy it early morning at the marina, at the price of 10 pieces for $15 U.S., and 20 pieces for $25 U.S. Sardina are plentiful for $10.
