CARNADEROS SCRATCHING FOR BAIT IN BRIGHT MOONLIGHT

March 26, 2005, Nacho Davis, Loreto Carnaderos, Loreto, Mexico Bait Fishing Report:

This week the Loreto Carnaderos have fished throughout the night resting for a few hours only. The moon has been very bright and baits have been reluctant to bite. Conditions in many ways indicate soon the bite will return. Young baits are returning with regularity. We are seeing more jurelito. Macarela are larger. There is still no sardina to speak of. Winds, predicable and nasty as they have been, will now subside. On this Easter Holiday the Carnaderos welcome this new year. We look forward to saying "Hola" as you come along side for nice bait, just outside the Loreto marina every morning.
