VERY HAPPY DORADO ANGLERS FISHING WITH ARTURO'S SPORTFISHING

July 7, 2006, Arturo Susarrey, Arturo's Sportfishing, Very good dorado fishing continues for Loreto boats, Mexico:

Dorado fishing is better than ever for this season so far. A lot of dorado have been caught on north of the Isla Coronado area, and also in the Loreto fishing areas where we set up the buoys about one month ago.

A lot of the anglers that were fishing with us finished their fishing journey very, very happy because of their successful catch. Most of their dorado catch was on fish from 20 to 35 pounds each. About 90 percent of our boat trips caught limits of dorado.

Some of our anglers are catching and releasing and keeping only the limit of fish to take home.

There are also many striped marlin and sailfish in the same area, north of the Carmen Island reef named the "50" or "Cincuenta."

Loreto sportfishing weather in our area of Baja has been very cloudy during the first hours of the morning since last Monday, making it a lot more humid than what it is supposed to be at this time of year. The air temperature has been around the 80 degrees at noon.

Mackerel bait is available at Isla Coronado or at Loreto, by catching your own or buying it early in the morning at the marina, at the price of 10 pieces for $15 and 20 pieces for $25.
