OFFSHORE BOATS STILL FINDING FISH

Dec. 31, 2005, Gary Graham, Baja On The Fly, Magdalena Bay, Mexico Fly Fishing Report:

While there is still decent offshore fishing action south of Magdalena Bay towards the Finger Bank off the Baja California Pacific coast, out in front of Magdalena Bay has cooled down.

There are a few dorado and tuna closer to the beach.

Fishing in the Magdalena Bay mangrove esteros are still producing good catches of sierra, and pompano, as well as a few grouper and, for the lucky ones, a snook or two.

Magdalena Bay water temperature 68-73; Air temperature 66-7; Wind W 6 m.p.h.; Conditions clear.
