FISHING IMPROVES FOR SPORT AND COMMERCIAL BOATS

Sept. 12, 2004, Sam Saenz, Puerto Santo Tomas Resort, Puerto Santo Tomas, Mexico Fishing:

Puerto Santo Tomas fishing weather and sea conditions: The weather has been warmer than usual and the sea has recovered from the remnants of the cabo san lucas storm. Fishing is back to normal.

Puerto Santo Tomas Bottom fishing: The locals and several sport fishing pangas have gone out and brought back full limits of bottom fish a considerable improvement from last week.

Puerto Santo Tomas Surface bite: The Soledad Reef continues to be active for white seabass and yellowtail and barracuda. This weekend David Borgas and Hector Lopez from Mexicali, B.C., landed six white seabass up to 35 pounds using rapalas. Also Mark Murray and Quan Nguyen from Ventura came in with two white seabass and barracuda and limits of bottom fish.
