MARLIN AND TUNA HEAD UP OFFSHORE FISHING AT EL BANCO

Aug. 28, 2004, Kim Moore, Charter Dreams, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico Fishing Report:

The primary Puerto Vallarta fishing action this week was at El Banco. Nice marlin and yellow fin tuna continue to abound at El Banco. Corbetena has been quiet this week. A few mahi mahi and sailfish being picked up along trash lines at the color change right outside the bay by the Marietas Islands. Puerto Vallarta seas were calm most of the week until Friday. Friday had a north wind that churned things up pretty good in the morning then it calmed in the afternoon. We are having typical late summer weather here in Puerto Vallarta with heavy afternoon and evening showers. Some spectacular lightening shows in the evenings! This makes our morning cooler but by mid day its sunny, hot and humid.

Water temp is running 87-89 F.
