SOME SPORTFISHING BOATS LANDING GOOD NUMBERS OF YELLOWTAIL

April 10, 2005, Craig Collins, San Carlos, Mexico Fishing Report:

I just got back from San Carlos. The fishing water at San Carlos is still 58-62 degrees, with reports of great fishing for yellowtail on Wednesday and Thursday, as many as 18-20 on some boats. I caught one at San Antonio Point, and two at San Pedro Nolasco Island the one morning I went there. Trolling wire with big Rapalas or MirrOlure in fire tiger seems to be the best. I tried yo-yoing for a while, but no strikes. Everyone at San Carlos is waiting for the warmer water which is two to three weeks behind schedule. My boat is named No Sniveling.
