LOCAL FISHING BOATS ARE CATCHING YELLOWFIN TUNA

Oct. 30, 2005, Bob Blair, Fishing San Carlos, San Carlos, Mexico Fishing Report:

I fished out of San Carlos on Saturday and got skunked. Other San Carlos boats were catching some yellowfin tuna and small dorado.

On Monday, I just got one yellowfin tuna, but today we went out fishing for total of five hours, fished just 3 hours, and got 7 yellowfin tuna. The smallest tuna was about 35 pounds.

For the rest of the week the Andale ll caught 37 Yellowfin tuna average weight about 35 pounds, 7 dorado, and two striped marlin released.

We have found the spot. Everyday now, San Carlos fishing boats are going out on the 160 from Doble, 19-22 miles, and nailing yellowfin tuna. There are lots of whale and dolphins. I cut the stomach open on a few and big squids were inside.
