SLOW SPORTFISHING ACTION IN LOCAL WATERS

Nov. 27, 2005, Bill Molden, San Carlos, Sonora, Fishing Report:

San Carlos fishing action in a word is slooooow. San Pedro Island is giving up a few Yellowtail trolling and jigging, but the operative word here is a "few." With the water temperatures now on a steep decline at 70 degrees, we think the action should heat up when it stabilizes a bit.

The best fishing action around San Carlos has been out in front on the points with Yellowtail being picked up both jigging and trolling just after sunrise. The bonita seem to have left us at this point but they could show up for a last gasp.
