BOAT NO SNIVELING FINDS FIRECRACKER YELLOWTAIL

Dec. 18, 2005, Craig Collins, No Sniveling, San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico Sportfishing Report:

No Sniveling fished out of San Carlos at Isla San Pedro on Saturday, water showing 57-60 degrees water temperature, on a beautiful flat calm day.

There was a pretty good bite on firecracker yellowtail, with some bigger fish mixed in. There were lots of small fish at the north end of the island being caught yo-yoing. Yellow and greens, and 6x Jr or smaller jigs seemed best.

Yellowtail were also being caught by trolling Rapalas on wire. I was bit all the way from 200 feet deep, bigger fish that pulled the hook, to some smaller yellows hitting on a fast crank at less than 50 feet from the boat.
