UNUSUAL FLY FISHING TRIP BY
THE PANGA MOTHERSHIP ERIK

Sept. 9, 2005, Andrea Velez, Baja Sportfishing, Inc., Erik, San Felipe, Baja California, Mexico Panga Mothership Fishing Report:

This fishing trip out of San Felipe for the Erik was a little different for us, as 10 of our customers in 5 pangas were fly fishing. They had a great time but did a lot of catch-and-release of various yellowtail, dorado, etc., and this lowered our fish count for the trip.

Therefore, the Erik's fish count was a lot smaller this week because of the catch-and-release.

The places we fished before returning to San Felipe were at Asemblea, Punta Remedio, Las Animas, San Francisquito, Morro Blanco, Bahia San Rafael, San Bernabe, Ensenada Grande, Punta Final and Islas Encantadas.

The fish count for this trip from San Felipe goes as follows: 98 Yellowtail; 108 Cabrilla; 2 Groupers including 1 of 45 pounds; 3 white sea bass; 26 pargo; 35 Dorado; 96 various.
