A PAIR OF SIERRA FOR LOS CABOS KAYAK ANGLERS

Yesterday, Dave Grimes and Tim Gunther fished from their kayaks in the San Jose del Cabo area west of Punta Gorda. They had to work real hard to catch two sierra for dinner. There is some bait in the water, but San Jose del Cabo pangueros say the fishing has been extremely slow. The commercial handliners go out even when it is real slow, and their primary catch has been a few very small huachinango. The shrimp trawlers are dragging the bottom, as usual.
