FIVE BOATS WITH PEDRO'S FISHING
FOR WHITE SEABASS AND YELLOWTAIL

Sept. 26, 2004, Steve Barstow, Sportsmen Pub, San Quintin fishing, Baja California, Mexico:

My group of 16 fishermen were in San Quintin last weekend and fished Saturday and Sunday. Fished with Pedro's Pangas. Had 5 San Quintin fishing boats out both days and caught some beautiful white seabass and yellowtail up to 30 lbs. Also, the usual large numbers of ling cod, rock cod and white fish.

On Saturday the 18th, San Quintin water was flat as a lake, and in the mid to low 60's.

Sunday I think we caught just a little fringe of the weather disturbance off of Cabo. San Quintin got rough as a cob on the ocean but we still caught fish! Just had to work harder for them. All in all, it was a super trip.
