San Quintin, Mexico:
Few Boats Fish, But Yellowtail Limits Caught At The 15 And 240 Spots

Jan. 16, 2005, Pete Hillis, Pedro's Pangas, San Quintin, Baja fishing, Mexico:

There were very few boats fishing at San Quintin again this week. Bruce Kleege and Greg Limbach of San Diego, Calif., went fishing with Capt. Hector on the Rommy for limits of yellowtail of 15 to 20 pounds at the 15 fathom and 240 spots.

Most fish were caught on scrambled egg jigs. San Quintin seas have been flat with no wind. Air temperatures have been between 68 to 70 degrees, cold in the mornings with highs as listed.

Despite the recent rains, the road from the highway to San Quintin Bay has been passable, and the local government is bringing in loads of sand and gravel to improve road conditions.
