San Quintin, Mexico:
Steady Pick For Boats Bottom Fishing In Windy Seas

March 23, 2005, Kelly Catian, K&M Offshore Sportfishing, San Quintin, Baja California, Mexico:

For the last few days San Quintin fishing conditions have been windy. We did get some yellowtail earlier last week at the 15 fathom spot. Bottom fishing off San Quintin is still very good depending on where you go, and the white seabass are still around as local commercial boats continue get them in their nets.

San Quintin weather today is windy, but seas are flat. It rained a bit last night but looks like that was it.

Road conditions getting out to San Quintin bay are very good as they have graveled and filled in most of the low spots where there were puddles.

The water temperature in the San Quintin fishing area is 59 degrees, with warmer water on the outside reefs. Isla San Martin was 57 degrees and green, but the 6 fathom was 61 degrees and clear blue.
