YELLOWTAIL MOVE TO SAN QUINTIN 15-FATHOM SPOT
Oct. 16, 2005, Pete Hillis, Pedro's Pangas, San Quintin, Baja fishing, Mexico:
We had 12 boats fishing out of San Quintin this weekend. Yellowtail action is still very good. The yellowtail seem to have moved from the Isla San Martin to the 15 fathom spot. Fishing with Rapalas early in the morning was good, with jigs working best later.
We also had ling cod and rock cod limits for everyone. San Quintin fishing area weather has been beautiful with no winds to report. As of Sunday morning, Captain Hector reports that there are some dark clouds moving in, possible rain later today or tomorrow.
We are starting our winter fishing package, 2 nights lodging, 2 lunches, and 2 days fishing for $210 per person, minimum 3 on a panga, 4 on the larger boats. Call the office for information.
