SIX YELLOWTAIL AND 1 AMBERJACK
CAUGHT AT ISLA SAN MARCOS

July 24, 2005, Ed Hogan, San Bruno, Baja California Sur, Mexico Fishing Report:

We are enjoying our home in San Bruno. On July 21st, six yellowtail and one amberjack were caught while fishing at the north end of Isla San Marcos on live mackerel, approximately 200 feet deep.

The yellowtail are running 25 to 35 pounds. Our total for two days of fishing would be 11 yellowtail and one amberjack caught while fishing next to Mike Kanzler of Isla San Marcos who has open charters available at this time.

Today Sunday the 24th, the dorado have moved in at the north end of Isla San Marcos. The sailfish are plentiful just outside the island.
