GUILLERMO'S SUPER PANGA FISHING AT BAHIA
DE LOS ANGELES FOR 13 FISH SPECIES CAUGHT
Sept. 5, 2004, Ryan Rogers, Bahia de los Angeles Fishing, Baja California, Mexico:
I fished Bahia de los Angeles last Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday with my Dad Larry Rogers and my Uncle Larry Turk on Guillermo's Super Panga.
Our Bahia de los Angeles fishing crew included Guillermo and his right-hand man Jose. We had an awesome trip catching thirteen different species of fish including grouper, sheephead, yellowtail (20 - 40 lbs.), and one dorado.
We could have loaded up on the dorado but my Dad, my Uncle, and I got a little too excited when we baited two and saw them all around the boat if you know what I mean.
There is tons of bait and other life in the Bahia de los Angeles fishing area including whales, dolphins, and big skippies. We even saw a huge shark attack a sea lion right in front of the boat. Like a bass on a buzz bait!
I can't say enough about the experience of fishing with Guillermo's team. They are some of the nicest people I've met, and are always going the extra mile to make sure your Bahia de los Angeles fishing trip is the best it can be. I'll definitely be staying at Guillermo's again.
The weather in L.A. Bay was nice and warm in the mid to upper 90's during the day, and the high 70's to low 80's in the evening (a little humid). The road to Bahia de los Angeles is fine until it goes to dirt the last few miles where they're repaving. Another awesome Baja adventure.
