BAHIA DE LOS ANGELES FISHING HAMPERED BY 5 DAYS OF WIND
Sept. 24, 2004, Abraham Vazquez, Camp Gecko, Bahia de los Angeles, Baja California, Mexico Fishing:
Fishing is slow now at Bahia de los Angeles, mostly because the fact that we have had wind for the past 5 days, today is the first nice day so we hope to hear some good reports. Temperatures have gone down a bit. They are now in the mid 80's in the day and the upper 60"s at night, absolutely perfect weather. The humidity is 55%. Today is the first day of calm weather after the storm. Had a nice earthquake today, 5.9 at San Lorenzo Island so it gave us a good jolt here but no damage. Bahia de los Angeles fishing is for yellowtail and cabrilla, not much of anything else except some skipjack. There are whale sharks in the bay now, and there is plenty of baitfish. The road paving is less than 1 mile to finish, desert is very green. |
