BAJA FISHING WAS POOR DURING 2-DAY EFFORT
AT SAN FRANCISQUITO AND RANCHO EL BARRIL,

Oct. 16, 2005, Barry Webber, San Francisquito fishing trip report, Baja California, Mexico:

We just returned from Punta San Francisquito. We fished October 14 and 15 with very limited success.

We fished around the point in the up welling down the coast to Rancho El Barril in a local panga.

Fishing Friday, we only landed one small dorado and 3 bonita.

On Saturday we got one dorado about 15 pounds and some cabrilla. There were many small jellyfish in the water which may be chasing away the game fish.
