VACATIONING ANGLERS LAND 70 DORADO IN 3 DAYS AT HOTEL PUNTA COLORADA

July 15, 2004, Fernando Hernandez, East Cape, Mexico Vacation fishing at Hotel Punta Colorada, Mexico:

We had a group of nine people fishing at Punta Colorada from Sunday the 11th until Tuesday the 13Th.

The Group consisted of 8 adults and one 11 year old fishing for the first time. Included were: David Perez Jr., Ernesto (Che) Lopez, Eduardo Alvarez of Coco Beach, Angel Sanchez, Peter Alonso, Jose Ventura, Migel Jorge, Fernando Hernandez, and the group organizer, Pablo Carrera.

The vacation group took, in three days. 70 dorado in the range of 15 to 20 Lbs., including one dorado that waighted 45 lbs. by the youngest one in the group David Perez who won the pool.

Also 3 wahoos, 15 tunas (15Lbs.), one yelow tail, and one 25 lbs pargo.

The first day was calm but the other two we had to fish with really big swells and wind, sometime under rain. But all in all our first trip of the year was very good indeed.

We fished between El Faro and Los Frailes at about 1/2 mile from shore.
