TEN TO 12 DORADO PER DAY CAUGHT ABOARD THE BOAT BILLFIGHTER OFF EAST CAPE

Aug. 18, 2004, Barry Webber, East Cape, Baja California Sur, Mexico fishing report:

On a 4 day East Cape fishing trip in July of 2004 to Palmas de Cortez 12 year old Christopher Weber and his dad Barry fished aboard the Billfighter with Caption David and a great crew.

East Cape Fishing Day 1 Chris caught a 200 lb class Blue Marlin.

East Cape Fishing Day 2 Chris and Dad combined for 12 dorado.

East Cape Fishing Day 3 Chris landed a striped marlin and large Dorado. Chris and Dad landed 2 Sailfish together and 10 Dorado.

East Cape Fishing Day 4 Chris landed a 200+ lb Yellow fin Tuna in 1 hour 50 minutes and helped dad land 12 Dorado.

In all a great trip a fantastic Boat and a fun resort. Thanks to all.

The dates were June 30 through July 3.

Chris and I are from Valencia, California. We Booked the trip through the Fishing fools in Granada Hills Ca. The Tuna was 90+ Kilos caught on a Zuker 5.5 green & orange marlin lure Maxima ultra green 50 lb test on a Cal sheets modified Penn international 30 T 2 speed, on a Custom rod made by Stu at fishing fools.
