EAST CAPE CHARTER BOATS FISHING FOR TUNA RIGHT IN FRONT OF LA RIBERA

Total Baja fishing boats out: 60 Fishermen: 310

Weather Temperature: Mid to high 90's

Water Temperature: 87 degrees - 89 degrees

Catch including released fish: Blue Marlin 1, Striped Marlin 18, Sailfish 29, Dorado 153, Tuna 194, Wahoo 3, Roosterfish 5, Shark 1, Snapper 35, Jack Crevalle 2, Amberjack 2, Bonita 23, Pompano 1, Triggerfish 3, Cabrilla 6, Skip Jack 96.

East Cape Water Temperature: Water a little hotter than normal as captains have reported temperatures up to 89 degrees, still I am going to go back to what I was saying in early June, if the fish is biting, who cares about the temperature.

East Cape Air Temperature: Nice and hot, but with some clouds and some breeze, it has not really been a hot summer just yet, we still have September to go, which is the hottest month of all, but also with the best statistical numbers.

East Cape Fishing Spots and Distance: Close very close, our fleet is going far only for those guests who wants to try for the big tuna, since there is small tuna right in front of La Rivera.

Offshore Fishing: Dorado, tuna, some wahoo, sails and stripers everything is here good days and bad days, you just have to be out there to know how good it will be for you.

Inshore Fishing: Good inshore East Cape fishing is like the small rabbit it still going, and going.

Successful Lures: Petrolero (brown with orange and little gray), Chivato (Yellow, orange, with black stripes), Purpura (black with purple). I may be missing some as they tried everything this past week. One again no change here.

Bait Used: Mackerel, caballito, and sardine. Good quality bait specially mackerel with this water temperatures.

Highlight of the Week: Nice steady East Cape fishing, some days you catch a lot some days you don't, but I bet you that you will change any day fishing for any day working, isn't this right?
