EAST CAPE FISHING REPORT FOR THE BOAT CANTO DEL MAR

My wife Sam, Diane and Glen Milner, and I went fishing at East Cape Friday off La Ribera on my boat Canto Del Mar. East Cape fishing has been mediocre unless you are in the right spot at the right time to catch a bait bite, with both dorado and marlin scattered. The good news is a few tuna showing up with porpoise. The latest East Cape charter fishing boat flags were coming from straight out from Los Barriles about 15-20 miles. We are still seeing dorado on the boat line here at Martin Verdugo's Beach Resort. East Cape seas have been very fishable, with water temperatures of 69-71 degrees and warming. Glen Milner caught a 20 pound dorado here from his float tube, and is threatening to revolutionize inshore fishing.
