MARTIN VERDUGO'S WEEKLY MEXICO FISHING REPORT

April 1, 2005, Gary Leeper, Martin Verdugo's Beach Resort, East Cape fishing report, Mexico:

Only about half the days this week were fishable for small boats at East Cape, but results weren't bad for marlin, and I averaged one dorado per trip. White bonito were available during inshore fishing at East Cape, but very few yellowfin were brought in. Most East Cape sportfishing action was off Pescadero and Colorado. Water temperatures started to climb in the East Cape sportfishing area, but have been blown out by north winds the last two days. Air temperatures have been beautiful, mid 60's to mid 80's. Spring break crowds are starting to thin out and East Cape should be back to tranquil by next week.
