This East Cape fishing summer continues to offer one of the most steady water conditions in a long time. It was hot this past week, but we hardly reached the high 90's. This late in the Summer it common to feel it is hotter, because of the humidity. Light breezes in the afternoon makes it really nice.
East Cape fishing action spread throughout our whole bay. Our fleet traveled to the fishing grounds an average of 10 to 25 miles.
Billfish action continues to be great, tuna was found bottom fishing, and for dorado only the really lucky ones caught some.
Rooster fishing continues to be so, so. Still there are a lot of pargos being caught right in front of La Rivera. Las Destiladeras started to offer great fishing too.
Mackerel and Caballito baits were used this week the fleet was getting squid to use for tuna.
There was a nice 372 blue marlin caught by Mr. Togo and Felipe Valdez on the 14th.
