EAST CAPE FISHING TRIP TO HOTEL PUNTA COLORADA

Kees Broekhuizen and I were visiting Hotel Punta Colorada from October 16th until November 4th. We were visiting our Dutch friend Peter Langstraat. He is in Mexico from October 3rd until December 28th. We have had a marvelous time in Mexico. The weather was nice, the people were nice and the fishing was good.

Fishing one day with three people we caught 34 fish, mostly ladyfish. The day after that we had 43 fish, again mostly ladyfish. And all these fish were mostly caught at Punta Arena. On our last whole day in Mexico, Peter caught a Roosterfish with a length of 129 centimeters (50.7 inches) and 43 pounds. We will definitely be back next year.
