VAN WORMER HOTELS SPORTFISHING FLEET REPORT FOR EAST CAPE

East Cape fishing results from the three Van Wormer hotels:

The East Cape sportfishing area has been a little windy, but the fishing has been decent. The last few days we've had quite a bit of dorado and tuna. We have also seen some monster blue marlin ranging from 250 to 365 pounds.

Catch including released fish:

Hotel Punta Colorada: 47 East Cape charter fishing boats; 127 tuna; 17 dorado; 16 wahoo; 1 sailfish; 10 striped marlin; 1 blue marlin; average per boat 3.7 fish.

Hotel Palmas De Cortez: 70 East Cape charter fishing boats; 48 tuna; 52 dorado; 3 sailfish; 25 striped marlin; 3 blue marlin between 250-350 pounds; average per boat 1.9 fish.

Hotel Playa Del Sol: 41 East Cape charter fishing boats; 36 tuna; 26 dorado; 4 sailfish; 16 striped; marlin; 1 blue marlin, 365 pounds; average per boat 2.0 fish.
