FISHING AT EAST CAPE OUT OF MARTIN VERDUGO'S BEACH RESORT

Nov. 25, 2005, Gary Leeper, at Martin Verdugo's Beach Resort, East Cape fishing, Baja California Sur, Mexico:

I fished at East Cape with Wayne Kirschner on his boat My Sharona on Thanksgiving Day and we landed 6 dodo on mackerel up to 20 pounds near the buoys south of Isla Cerralvo. Dorado fishing has been hot in that area, with lots of 40's coming in, and there have been an unusual number of Blue and Black marlin being caught. No tuna that I know of were caught.

East Cape water temperatures are in the high 70's and falling. Air temperatures are in the 60's to 80's. We've had a fair number of wind days, keeping most East Cape fishing boats home on those days.
