EAST CAPE FISHING WATER TEMPERATURES TAKE A BIG DROP THIS WEEK

Yesterday that everyone was having good success, but everything changed. A check with Terrafin this morning confirms East Cape water temperatures dropped very quickly in the last 40 hours or so, from 74 degrees to 67, over on the east side here and shut things off like you threw a switch. My neighbors put 50 miles on yesterday without seeing a fish, not one bite or ripple on what looked like a lake. Another neighbor put 4 hours in this morning and reported no fish, no bait, and one small barrilete caught.
