SOME RED TIDE CONDITIONS PRESENT DURING VONNY'S FLEET FISHING WEEK

Sunday 27 March 2005:
Derek Arneson from San Diego caught one nice white seabass and limits of rockcods fishing on the Vonny I. Alejandro Bravo from Los Angeles caught limits of rock cods on the Vonny III with Cruz Zamora. Ensenada weather was 64 degrees, clear, with light winds at 4 m.p.h. The water temperature was 59 degree, with 3-4 foot swells.
Monday 28 March 2005:
Mike Duran from Fontana caught limits of barracutas, bonitas and some rock cods and ling cods fishing at Ensenada on the Vonny I and Vonny III.
Tuesday 29 MArch 2005:
Mike Dursey from San Diego caught like yesterday fishing at Ensenada on Vonny I and Vonny III, and John McRery went fishing on the Vonny II with Genaro Zamora.
Wednesday 30 March 2005:
Howard Lindsey went fishing on the Vonny III, and Bud Nielsen from Santa Fe Springs went on Vonny I and caught limits barracutas and bonitas and some bottom fishing at Punta Banda.
Thursday 01 April 2005:
Jay Johnson and Josua (grandchildren) caught two nice yellowtails while fishing on the Vonny I, and Orlando Lara from Santa Barbara caught limits rock cods and ling cods fishing on the Vonny III. Josua caught a "raro" kelpfish. The meat is like halibut.
Friday 02 April 2005:
Orlando Lara caught limits rockcods and ling cods fishing at Punta Banda on the Vonny I, and Joe Andreotti from El Centro went fishing on the Vonny III.
Saturday 03 April 2005:
Don Fradette from San Diego caught limits rockcods and ling cods on the Vonny I and Vonny III, and Paul Beachly from LA caught the same on the Vonny II with Genaro Zamora.
Ensenada fishing waters had some "marea rojo," or red tides.
