LILY FLEET BOATS AMIGO AND TAMARA FISHING SOUTH OF ENSENADA

Sept. 3, 2005, Sammy Susarrey, Lily Fleet, Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico:

Today fishing at the lower 500 was slow. Most of the Ensenada fishing boats reported 2 to 4 fish per rod, with yellowfin tuna 20 pounders, dorados 15 to 20 pounders.

Fishing at the San Jose reef, the Tamara loaded up again on bottom fish, and also a couple of white seabass, 20 pounders.

The Amigo also fished out of Ensenada today, and they caught 2 yellowfin tunas 20 pounders, and also limits of red snappers at Punta Banda bank.

Local Ensenada fishing boats reported some action on yellows and barracudas 2 miles out to the north.

Outside of Ensenada, the fishing water temperature is 70 degrees, and at San Jose reef fishing area 63 degrees. In the north Todos Santos fishing area it is 64 degrees.

Sept. 2, 2005, Sammy Susarrey, Lily Fleet, Ensenada, Mexico Fishing Report:

The Amigo fished at GPS 31.24 117.15, 43 miles from Ensenada's Marina Coral, 210 degrees. The water temperature in this fishing area was 72.8 degrees and we did very well on dorados, 20 pounders, also yellowtail, 10 pounders, and yellowfin tuna, 20 pounders. We have been catching about 4 fish per rod. On local Ensenada trips we have been fishing for yellowtail at Islas Todos Santos.
