Fishing on the Bad Dog out of Ensenada's Marina Coral, yesterday, Saturday, September 24th, Team Bad Dog won the Puerta Salina Torneo de Pesca Deportiva with a marlin that pinned their scale to it's highest allowable weight of 130 pounds.

Bad Dog's winning angler was Marinero Alex "Jando" Ruiz. This jig fish marlin ate a black Collector lure at the 390 spot in 66 degree blue water.

The Port of La Salina, 18 miles north of Ensenada, provided a fiesta, feeding the large crowd their well known paella, and Team Bad Dog won $3,000 in U.S. cash and prizes along with other generous gifts. Captain Steve Ross was at the wheel with gaffers Gail Ross and Juan Lu Cardona-Sepulveda.
